Twas' the night of my first chemo to treat lung cancer (non-small cell) and I was all hopped up on steroids. Impulsively, I booked a bucket list trip abroad for a Tori Amos concert.

A 4 year update, since the day I was list on the Heart Transplant Wait List. "As of today at 4:26:05 CST I'm officially on the ♡ Transplant List! I'm excited because I've given blood, sweat & tears since mid-June to this process, so I'm relieved. I'm also fearful. Mixed emotions-today is a big day. I'm so grateful to you for your ongoing support. I need it!"
As a heart transplant recipient and cancer survivor, I have experienced intense physical pain and prolonged mental anguish. I have a few tricks I use to endure pain and I will share them with you. I hope it brings you some measure of relief.
