Discharging Home & Lung Cancer Can Suck it!πŸ₯ŠπŸ‹

I’m discharging tomorrow to recuperate at my sister’s house.πŸ’‹

This Lung Cancer surgery was intense. Happily, I’m going home on oxygen🚭, which is not what was expected, but meh.πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ My body just takes longer to heal. I will have home PT. Stairs & distance are issues, luckily I have Adam coaching me! I’m spending the last 24 hrs inpatient trying to avoid IV pain meds, πŸ’‰, so that I’ll be more successful at home. I deserve a gold star 🌟 for this trial!

My lungs look much better on the xray and my white blood count is coming down due to ⬆️ walking/exercise…all good signs!

Still waiting on pathology and staging of cancer, which will determine if I need Chemo &/or Radiation. Ps I hate chemo. πŸ‘Ώ More to come on this topic, I will keep you posted.

I have an awesome scar on my back with staples (not for faint at heart). I’ve so appreciated all of your prayers and notes of support….this was a *very* painful experience and I’m on the otherside (I believe), with much better handle on the pain. You lifted my spirits during some very dark times this past week, thank you.β™₯️πŸ₯ŠπŸŽ—πŸ‹πŸ’‹

  1. Good to hear you’re fighting like the champ you are, Jenny! And glad you’re going to your sister’s. Prayers, love, hugs…and you’re still beautiful no matter what face you makeπŸ€ͺπŸ™ƒπŸ₯°
